Prince Harry to return to UK for Invictus Games promotion, no brother meeting
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, is expected to travel to England in July 2026 to take part in promotional activities for the 2027 Invictus Games, which will be staged in Birmingham next year. Sources say he hopes to bring his wife Meghan Markle and their children Archie and Lilibet, although no firm arrangements have been confirmed.
The visit will not include a reunion with his older brother Prince William; insiders say there is “no chance” of a meeting. The brothers have not appeared together publicly since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022, and tensions persist after Harry’s memoir and a failed legal bid for police protection. He also missed his cousin Peter Phillips’s recent wedding. The trip is presented as a chance to support the international multi‑sport event for wounded servicemen and to improve relations with King Charles, whose health is reportedly declining.
