Prince Jalawi presides over first Najran Region Council session

Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, the Governor of Najran and Chairman of the Najran Region Council, presided over the first session of the council's first term for the 1447/1448 AH fiscal year. The session was attended by regional security officials, the council's secretary-general, and appointed community members.

The meeting focused on the formation of specialized committees derived from the council and the review of their respective duties. These committees are tasked with monitoring development processes, studying regional needs, identifying developmental priorities, and overseeing service levels and projects to meet citizen expectations. The Prince emphasized the importance of coordination between government entities and local residents to enhance regional growth.
