Prince posthumous album ‘Timeless’ released

The Prince Estate, in partnership with Legacy Recordings and Sony Music, has released ‘Timeless’, a new posthumous album featuring ten rare and previously unreleased recordings from the artist’s legendary Vault.

Spanning nearly four decades of musical evolution, the collection includes tracks recorded between 1977 and 2016. The album traces Prince’s career from his early years as a teenage prodigy in Minneapolis to his final recorded performances. Notable tracks include ‘I Am You’ (1977), ‘Stone’ (1995), and a live recording of ‘How Come U Don’t Call Me Anymore?’ from 2016.

The project was mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer Chris James, a former collaborator of the artist. ‘Timeless’ is available in digital formats, CD, and various vinyl editions, including a limited purple marble version. The release coincides with the ten-year anniversary of Prince’s passing in 2016.
