Prince Saud bin Naif launches Tamkeen platform for SMEs

Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, has reviewed the achievements of the Social Development Bank (SDB) and inaugurated the ‘Tamkeen’ platform to support entrepreneurs and small to medium enterprises (SMEs).

During a meeting with SDB officials, the Governor emphasized the necessity of developing innovative and sustainable programs that align with Saudi Vision 2030. These initiatives aim to meet the needs of individuals, families, and entrepreneurs, thereby enhancing the national economy and improving quality of life. SDB representatives highlighted various financing and non-financial services, including training, consultancy, and programs such as ‘Jada 30’ and the ‘Delny Business Center’.

The newly launched ‘Tamkeen’ platform, an initiative by the Eastern Business Youth Council, serves as a unified digital gateway. It utilizes artificial intelligence to consolidate access to various support programs, funding opportunities, and advisory services for SMEs. This digital initiative is intended to facilitate business growth and ensure the sustainability of new projects within the region.
