Prince Strachan cleared for West Virginia football season

Bahamian wide receiver Prince Strachan has been cleared to return to full practice at West Virginia University following a shoulder injury sustained during spring practice. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound transfer from Boise State and USC is expected to provide size and experience to the Mountaineers' receiving corps under coach Rich Rodriguez.

Strachan is preparing for the 2026 season opener against Coastal Carolina on September 5. He has reportedly been focusing on learning the offense and refining his route running and releases to secure a significant role in the passing game.
