Prince Sverre Magnus begins studies in Lisbon
Prince Sverre Magnus of Norway has begun his studies at Forward College in Lisbon. The 20-year-old son of King Haakon VII and Queen Mette-Marit is enrolled in a Business Management course.
Forward College is an international higher education institution with a unique structure where students spend one year in each of three cities: Lisbon for the first year, Paris for the second, and Berlin for the third. The college maintains small class sizes of approximately 15 students and features curricula designed by institutions such as the London School of Economics and King’s College London.
The Prince expressed enthusiasm for his new environment, stating he is “enchanted by living in Lisbon.” While focusing on his academic pursuits in economics, statistics, and accounting, he may continue to participate in official duties for the Norwegian Royal House when compatible with his studies.
