Prince Sverre Magnus Gains Spotlight as Royal Skaugum Homes Are Rented Out

Prince Sverre Magnus, the youngest child of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette‑Marit, has taken on a higher public profile within the Norwegian royal family. He appeared alongside his sister at the celebrations after Norway's historic win over Brazil at the FIFA World Cup, speaking about the joy of the moment and receiving enthusiastic applause from thousands of Norwegians.

At the same time, two of the twelve rental units on the royal Skaugum estate in Asker have been listed on the Finnish online marketplace Finn. An apartment is offered for NOK 11,500 per month and a detached house of 287 m² for NOK 34,000 per month. The detached house was previously registered as the business address for Prince Sverre Magnus' sole‑proprietorship, Sverre Magnus Productions. The listings highlight the estate's mixed use as a private residence, official venue and source of rental income.

Together, the public engagements and the property listings illustrate Prince Sverre Magnus' growing visibility and the royal family's practical management of its assets.
