Prince William accepts cricket gift for Princess Charlotte

Prince William participated in the ‘Cricket on the Mall’ event outside Buckingham Palace, where he played a brief match alongside international cricket stars including Brian Lara and Sourav Ganguly. While his batting received praise, reports noted his bowling could use improvement.

During the event, England women’s captain Nat Sciver-Brunt presented Prince William with a special gift for Princess Charlotte: a red and blue T20 England women’s cricket shirt for the 2026/2027 season, featuring the Three Lions crest. The gift is intended for the Princess, who is a cricket enthusiast and plays for Lambrook School.

In a separate outing, Catherine, Princess of Wales, was spotted traveling through central London on the Elizabeth line with Princess Charlotte. The pair appeared relaxed and engaged in brief conversation with fellow passengers while accompanied by security.
