Prince William and Kate Middleton visit Isle of Bute

Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, conducted their first official visit to the Isle of Bute in Scotland on September 17. Visiting under their Scottish titles, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the couple focused on celebrating community, volunteering, and local heritage.

During the engagement, the royals visited the Bute Shinty Club in Rothesay, where they met with residents and participated in the traditional Scottish sport of shinty.
