Prince William and Princess Kate support MND awareness in Leeds
Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, conducted a series of visits in Northern England to support efforts regarding Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The royal couple visited Headingley Rugby Stadium, home of the Leeds Rhinos, to learn about the foundation's work and the legacy of the late rugby player Rob Burrow.
In a surprise appearance, the royals met former rugby player Kevin Sinfield at the DIY Kitchens Stadium in Wakefield. They greeted Sinfield as he completed the third day of his ‘7 in 7’ challenge, an ultramarathon series designed to raise awareness for MND. Sinfield expressed his gratitude for the royal support during the event.
The Princess of Wales, who is currently in remission following a cancer diagnosis earlier in 2024, attended the events in a more casual style, wearing a green Ralph Lauren blazer paired with black trousers.
