Prince William and Princess Kate utilize various royal residences for privacy
Prince William and Princess Kate utilize several properties for privacy and family retreats, including Forest Lodge in Windsor, a luxury apartment in Kensington Palace, and Anmer Hall in Norfolk. Anmer Hall, a historic property built in 1802 on King Charles’s Sandringham estate, was gifted to the couple by Queen Elizabeth as a wedding present.
Reports indicate the family also utilizes a cottage on the Balmoral estate in Scotland to avoid paparazzi. While there was previous speculation regarding ownership, Kensington Palace clarified that the cottage is owned by the Crown Estate and leased to a third party, rather than being owned or leased by Prince William.
Additionally, paranormal historian Richard Felix noted rumors regarding Anmer Hall, claiming the property is said to be haunted by the spirit of a Catholic priest. Felix reported that Prince William appeared unbothered by these claims, suggesting that an old hall is not complete without a ghost.
