Prince William and Princess Kate visit Isle of Bute

Prince William and Princess Kate conducted their first joint official visit to the Isle of Bute in Scotland on September 17. During the trip, the couple engaged with local community groups and participated in various activities to honor local volunteerism.

While visiting the Bute Shinty Club, the Prince and Princess observed a U17 match and attempted to play the sport themselves. Following this, they joined Beachwatch Bute for a beach cleanup initiative. Members of the group noted that Princess Kate actively participated in collecting litter from the shoreline.

The visit also included lighthearted interactions with the public. In one instance, a fan complimented Prince William’s appearance, to which he humorously responded, “Stop, you’ll make me blush.” The couple concluded their visit at a local community hub in Port Bannatyne.
