Prince William County Community Events Schedule for August

A variety of local activities are planned across Prince William County for the remainder of August. Farmers markets will operate at several venues: the Virginia Gateway Farmers Market in Gainesville on Saturdays, the Haymarket Town Hall Parking Lot on Sundays, the Harris Pavilion in Manassas on Thursdays and Saturdays, and the Prince William Street Commuter Lot on Saturdays. Additional market sites include the Long Family Markets at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge on Thursdays.

Entertainment options feature game nights at the Spot at Belmont Bay in Woodbridge, weekly Mahjong sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays, Bingo on Mondays, and trivia on Thursdays. Historic preservation events at Bristoe Station Battlefield Park commemorate the 164th anniversary of the Battle of Kettle Run with tours and family activities on August 22‑27. A free reptile show by Raging Reptiles will be held at the Harris Pavilion in Manassas on August 12, and a trivia night titled "Hop‑A‑Demic" will take place at Sinistral Brewing Co. on the same date. The Night Market at Eavesdrop Brewery in Manassas offers local arts, crafts, and collectibles on August 12 and 26.
