Prince William adopts unconventional approach to royal traditions

Prince William is drawing attention for his unconventional approach to royal duties and traditions. Unlike King Charles III, who frequently wears traditional Scottish kilts during visits to Scotland, the Prince of Wales has not been seen in Highland dress since his childhood.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has suggested that William should embrace more celebrated traditions and increase his public commitments, particularly as King Charles continues to battle cancer. Fitzwilliams noted that while William has prioritized his family's privacy in recent years, the magnitude of his future role may require a more visible presence, including more international travel and additional patronages.

In addition to his stylistic choices, reports indicate that William follows a strict personal rule during his many public engagements: he avoids eating full meals while on camera, often reserving main meals for private settings. This habit is noted to be similar to that of King Charles, who is known for skipping lunch due to a demanding schedule.
