Prince William may reduce monarchy size by removing royal titles
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams suggests that Prince William may adopt a stricter approach to the monarchy upon his accession to the throne. According to reports, William could seek to reduce the size of the Royal Family by stripping certain members of their official titles.
The potential changes could affect six individuals, including Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were also identified as potential targets for title removal. Fitzwilliams noted that the ongoing rift between William and Harry may influence these decisions, stating that changes could occur “as long as the rift with William persists.”
While removing these titles might reduce the formal appeal of these royals, it is suggested that their general public visibility would likely remain unchanged.
