Prince William recounts attempt to exclude Travis Kelce from Taylor Swift photo

Prince William has shared a humorous anecdote regarding a backstage photograph taken during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop at Wembley Stadium in London on June 21, 2024. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the Prince of Wales revealed that he had repeatedly attempted to move NFL star Travis Kelce out of the frame.

William explained that his original intention was to capture a simple photograph featuring himself, Swift, and his two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. However, Kelce repeatedly appeared in the shot despite the Prince's efforts to arrange the photo without him.

The resulting selfie eventually became a significant pop culture moment, marking the first time Swift shared a photo of Kelce on her main Instagram feed. William noted that he did not initially realize the photograph would become so iconic.
