Princess Anne visits Cornwall charities
Princess Anne visited two locations in Cornwall on Tuesday to recognize the work of local charities.
At the China Fleet Country Club in Saltash, she met with representatives from The Naval Children’s Charity. The Princess Royal became the charity’s patron in March 2025, succeeding her mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who held the patronage for over 70 years. The organization provides support to the children of serving and veteran Royal Navy personnel.
Additionally, Princess Anne visited the National Coastwatch Institution lookout at St Agnes Head. There, she was briefed on the station’s operations, which involve volunteers conducting daily visual and radio watches along the north coast of Cornwall to assist HM Coastguard.
