Princess Beatrice and Eugenie's wealth shielded despite Prince Andrew scandal

Royal finance experts say Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie remain financially secure despite the fallout from their father Prince Andrew's loss of titles and public controversy. The sisters benefit from multiple trust funds created in the 1990s by the Queen Mother, later supplemented by Queen Elizabeth II and additional arrangements by Prince Andrew. Both have married affluent spouses—Beatrice to Italian count and developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and Eugenie to businessman Jack Brooksbank—and live rent‑free in royal residences.

Beatrice runs a technology consultancy that reportedly generated about £500,000 in 2024, while Eugenie serves as a director at the Mayfair gallery Hauser & Wirth. Norman Baker, a royal‑finance specialist, told the Daily Mail, “Anyone who is worried about the York sisters being short of cash need not worry.” Their inherited wealth, property holdings and private incomes keep them insulated from their father's reputational damage.

The situation underscores the enduring financial privileges of senior royals, even as they are removed from official duties.
