Originally purchased by Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly in 1957, the villa is deeply tied to the family's history. It served as a place for the royals to seek privacy and a simpler family life. The estate is also noted for its connection to a tragic moment in royal history: the 1982 car accident that led to the death of Grace Kelly.
