Princess Cruises sees high demand in Australia with one-third of voyages sold out
Princess Cruises is experiencing high demand in the Australian market, with one-third of its remaining voyages for the year already sold out. This surge in popularity has led to inflated prices for last-minute bookings, with many 12 to 14-day voyages now costing over $4,000 per person for interior cabins.
The current shortage of available ships is contributing to the rapid sell-out of suites and balcony cabins. While Princess currently has two ships home-ported in Australia—the Royal Princess and Grand Princess—the company plans to increase this to three ships for the 2026/27 season, including the arrival of the Sapphire Princess in Perth.
