Princess Diana: Details on final Paris night and psychic warnings

New details and retrospective accounts have emerged regarding the circumstances surrounding the 1997 death of Diana, Princess of Wales, in a car accident in Paris.

On the night of the tragedy, Diana and her partner, Dodi Al-Fayed, were staying at the Ritz Paris. To evade paparazzi following them after dinner, the couple reportedly used a Mercedes Classe S280 rented by the hotel as a decoy to attempt to escape the crowds at the hotel entrance.

Additionally, reports indicate that Diana's spiritual advisor, Rita Rogers, had provided an ominous warning prior to the event. According to author Christopher Andersen, Rogers claimed to have received a spiritual message via the spirit of Dodi Al-Fayed's deceased mother, warning him not to go driving in Paris. Rogers stated that she had seen visions of a tunnel and motorcycles, though she did not realize Diana would be in the vehicle at the time. Diana had also reportedly expressed personal beliefs in her writings that she might die in a car crash.
