Princess Diana: New allegations and letters emerge regarding royal family

New allegations and historical correspondence have surfaced regarding the personal life and death of Princess Diana. In his book, “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister,” Charles Spencer claims that a palace-orchestrated operation, allegedly following orders from the late Prince Philip, sought to drive the Princess to a breaking point. Spencer suggests that the psychological pressure and the belief that she could not trust anyone left her vulnerable leading up to her fatal car crash in Paris.

Additionally, published letters from 1992 attributed to Prince Philip provide insight into his relationship with Diana during her separation from King Charles III. The correspondence reportedly shows Philip offering support, stating, “I cannot imagine anyone in their right mind leaving you for Camilla,” while also expressing disapproval of Charles’s affair. However, other letters from the same period show Philip questioning if Diana’s own behavior contributed to the marital breakdown, likening jealousy to a “cancer” within the marriage.
