Princess Diana returns to spotlight via new documentary and memoir
Princess Diana is returning to the spotlight following the announcement of a new three-part documentary and the release of a memoir by her brother, Charles Spencer.
The upcoming documentary, titled ‘Diana Unheard’ by Love Monday TV, will feature private recordings made by Diana in 1991. These tapes, which were originally shared with biographer Andrew Morton, reportedly capture her perspectives on her marriage to then-Prince Charles, as well as discussions regarding Camilla Parker Bowles and Prince Andrew. Cineflix Rights is managing international distribution for the project.
Simultaneously, Earl Spencer has released a memoir, ‘Swan Song: Diana, My Sister,’ which contains several controversial claims regarding the Royal Family. Spencer alleges that during a heated argument regarding funeral arrangements, King Charles remarked that Diana would be ‘forgotten soon enough.’ Buckingham Palace has responded to these claims by noting that the ‘pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory.’
