Ken Wharfe, a former bodyguard to Princess Diana, has revealed that the late princess shared a common habit with King Charles III: a prolific dedication to handwritten correspondence.

Wharfe noted that Diana was a constant letter writer, often sending warm and humorous notes to express gratitude for kindness or hospitality. He described this habit as a reflection of her aristocratic upbringing. This trait mirrors the current monarch's habits; Buckingham Palace has previously noted that King Charles writes more than 2,400 letters annually, including notes to the public.

In addition to her correspondence, Wharfe recalled Diana’s generosity, noting she frequently gave small gifts to individuals she met during her travels and maintained a strong interest in global politics and current affairs.
