Princess Ekeinde discusses life as a celebrity daughter

Princess Ekeinde, daughter of Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Captain Matthew Ekeinde, has spoken about the pressures of growing up in a high-profile family. During an appearance on ‘The Chat’ show, she addressed the challenges of being a ‘nepo baby’ and the constant comparisons made to her mother regarding beauty, talent, and status.

Ekeinde emphasized her desire to establish her own identity, stating, “First of all, I am not Omotola, I am Princess. Let’s get this wrong.” She noted that as the firstborn daughter, she feels a significant responsibility to protect her family’s reputation and legacy.

Unlike her mother’s career in film, Princess Ekeinde has pursued a path in tourism and hospitality. She holds a degree from Eastern Mediterranean University and a master’s degree in international tourism management from Middlesex University Dubai.
