Princess of Wales Kate finishes Three Peaks Challenge for cancer charity

Princess Catherine, Princess of Wales, completed the National Three Peaks Challenge — climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours — on the weekend of 27‑28 June 2026. The effort was undertaken to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, the hospital where she received treatment after a cancer diagnosis in early 2024 and entered remission in January 2025.

Following the trek, Kate posted a series of Instagram photos on 5‑6 July 2026 showing an emotional reunion with her husband Prince William, their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as well as her parents Carole and Michael Middleton, brother James and a family dog. The caption thanked supporters of the charity and highlighted the importance of holistic care for cancer patients. The challenge marked the first time a senior member of the British royal family has completed the three‑peak ascent, drawing widespread media attention and encouraging further donations for the Royal Marsden.
