Princess Kate returns to public duties following cancer treatment

Catherine, Princess of Wales, is gradually returning to her royal duties and charitable engagements following a period of medical treatment. In March 2024, the Princess revealed she had undergone an abdominal surgery, after which post-operative tests led to a cancer diagnosis.

Following the diagnosis, she underwent preventative chemotherapy. In September 2024, she announced that she had completed her chemotherapy cycles and is currently in remission. Her recent activities include supporting initiatives related to early childhood development, mental health, and family welfare. She also recently completed her first official overseas trip since her oncological treatment with a visit to Italy.
