Princess Lalla Asmaa celebrated in Morocco for social initiatives
Morocco celebrates the birthday of Princess Lalla Asmaa, highlighting her extensive social work and commitment to improving the lives of children with special needs, particularly those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
As President of the Lalla Asmaa Foundation, the Princess oversees a medical, educational, and social model designed to support the integration of hearing-impaired children from early detection through university success.
Recent international cooperation was noted on September 15, when Princess Lalla Asmaa and Rachel Ruto, First Lady of Kenya and President of the Voice of Children Foundation, visited the Mohammed VI International University Hospital in Rabat. They visited Kenyan and Moroccan patients who had received cochlear implants as part of the international program ‘United, We Hear Better’ and the national campaign ‘We Hear’.
