Princess Leonor's university start sparks marketing and biographical interest

As Princess Leonor, the heir to the Spanish throne, begins her university studies, the design platform Canva has launched a ‘Welcome Princess’ marketing campaign across Spain. The out-of-home campaign utilizes billboards, metro stations, and bus shelters—some designed to resemble royal carriages—to extend a celebratory welcome to all new university students.

Separately, biographer Angie Calero has released a book titled ‘Leonor de Borbón y Ortiz, una reina para el futuro’, exploring the phenomenon known as ‘Leonormanía’. Calero describes the Princess as having a magnetic image and a personality that has evolved from being shy and reserved to appearing more open and confident, noting her significant cultural influence compared to modern social media influencers.
