Princess Madeleine discusses evolving royal role and humanitarian work

She noted that her role has changed significantly in recent years, allowing her to explore interests outside of official royal duties, such as launching her own skincare brand. Her family, including King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, has reportedly supported these decisions.

Madeleine continues her commitment to humanitarian work through the World Childhood Foundation, an organization founded by Queen Silvia. Serving as vice president and patron, she highlighted the importance of the Childhood Prize, which this year focuses on the role of middle school teachers in preventing sexual abuse against children.

Additionally, long-time friend Natalie Werner shared insights into the Princess's character, describing her as a warm and genuine person who remains grounded despite her public status. Werner, who has been friends with Madeleine since they were ten years old, noted that the Princess often finds the spotlight challenging due to her shy nature.
