Princess Madeleine's original three-year overseas plan revealed

Princess Madeleine originally planned to live abroad for three years to focus on her work with the Childhood Silvias älskade Foundation. Her initial strategy involved spending one year in New York, one year in Germany, and a final year in Brazil to help give a voice to children affected by sexual abuse and exploitation.

However, her time in New York led to her meeting Chris O'Neill. This connection resulted in her living abroad for over ten years in locations different from her original plan before eventually returning to Sweden with her family. She currently serves as the vice honorary chairperson for the foundation.
