Princess Royal Hospital launches new Doctors’ Mess

The Princess Royal Hospital has opened a new Doctors’ Mess on its ground floor. The facility includes a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable lounge, lockers, computers, telephone access and a quiet room for rest and reflection.

The opening was marked by Dr. Gordon Wood, Director of Medical Education, who thanked Sam Funge, Head of Medical Education, Martin Davies and Darren Good of the Capital Estates Team, as well as the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Charity for their contributions. Dr. Wood said the space is intended to be a safe, flexible area for doctors to rest, work, and recharge.
