Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip inaugurate Sundbyberg Culture House

Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden have returned to their official duties following a summer holiday in Öland. The royal couple recently inaugurated the new Sundbyberg Culture House, where they also met with students from Alby School. Princess Sofia’s all-white attire during the visit drew positive attention from international media outlets, such as Germany’s Bunte and Hello! Magazine, which described her look as ‘relaxed elegance.’

In her personal and professional life, Princess Sofia continues her long-standing commitment to children in vulnerable situations through her roles as honorary chair of Project Playground and her work with the Prince's Foundation, which focuses on dyslexia.

Meanwhile, in the Princess's hometown of Älvdalen, local officials are monitoring challenges related to declining birth rates. While the municipality remains a leader in high school eligibility, the school chief, Torbjörn Martinsson, noted that low student numbers have already led to the closure of one preschool in recent years.
