Princeton Chase rowing event scheduled for November 1

The Princeton Chase, hosted by the Carnegie Lake Rowing Association, is set to take place on Sunday, November 1, at Lake Carnegie in Princeton, New Jersey. The event serves as the final fall competition for several collegiate rowing teams.

Mercyhurst University will field multiple crews, including men's heavyweight and lightweight eights, as well as women's eights and several men's and women's fours. The Lakers are coming off recent successes at the Challenge on the Canal, where the men's team secured first-place finishes in the 4+, 2-, and 2x categories.

The University of Iowa rowing team will also participate in the event. The Hawkeyes are scheduled to compete in the women's open eights starting at 9:00 a.m. CT, followed by second-round eights and women's open fours. The competition features teams from various conferences, including the ACC, SEC, Big 12, and Big Ten.
