Printing and packaging firms announce upcoming technology showcases

Several major players in the printing and packaging industry are preparing to showcase technological advancements at upcoming trade exhibitions.

At LOUPE Americas 2026, Michelman will present its DigiPrime portfolio of print-receptive primers, developed in collaboration with HP Industrial Print. The company will introduce DigiPrime Vision 9200, an in-line primer designed for high-performance labels used with HP Indigo digital presses. Michelman also plans to demonstrate new bio-based, plastic-free barrier coatings, Nuvita Life 4002 and 4605, aimed at improving the recyclability and compostability of retail food packaging.

Separately, at the PRINTING United Expo 2026 in Las Vegas, Müller Martini and Hunkeler will demonstrate integrated solutions for direct mail and book manufacturing. Their showcase includes the GEN8 Direct Mail Line and a connected softcover production line featuring the new Separo PRO perfect binder. These systems are designed to operate within the Müller Martini CONNEX workflow to streamline production processes.
