Printr token launchpad to shut down and cancel airdrop
Printr, a cross-chain token launchpad, has announced it will cease all operations by August 31, 2026. The shutdown includes the cancellation of its planned token generation event (TGE) and the promised airdrop, rendering accumulated user points worthless.
The company cited a lack of capital and insufficient market reach as the primary reasons for the wind-down. Despite raising $4.5 million through funding rounds involving backers such as Bybit Venture Studio, Mantle EcoFund, and Sfermion, the platform struggled to maintain sustainability. Revenue peaked in April 2026, accounting for 84% of its lifetime fees, but monthly fees declined sharply thereafter.
As part of the wind-down process, staked positions and accrued fees began being returned to user wallets on August 18. While the Printr interface and app will go offline at the end of August, tokens previously launched through the platform will remain live on their respective blockchains, though users will need to manage them via other decentralized exchanges.
