Printware unveils iJetColor 1175 Pro+PXG inkjet press as Zenith adds Heidelberg XL 106

Printware announced the iJetColor 1175 Pro+PXG, an upgraded inkjet envelope and short‑run packaging press that builds on the 2020 iJetColor 1175 Pro platform. The new system combines high‑speed envelope production with flexible packaging capabilities, uses HP Fixed‑Imager TIJ 4.0 technology and is priced under USD 90,000. Bill Frederick, Printware’s Vice President of Sales, said the model enables customers to add profitable short‑run packaging to an existing envelope line, while Director of Manufacturing Duane Smith highlighted its adjustable design for a wide range of substrates. Commercial shipments are scheduled to begin in July 2026 after testing with key customers.

Separately, Zenith Print Group invested in a Heidelberg XL 106‑5‑P+L five‑colour perfecting press, expanding its fleet that already includes two Speedmaster XL 106 units. The addition is expected to raise production capacity by about 35 % and improve flexibility for commercial and packaging jobs. Zenith also upgraded its pre‑press with high‑speed Suprasetter plate loaders and its post‑press with a Stahlfolder TH82‑P equipped with StackStar C robotics, further automating its workflow and reducing manual handling.
