Prinz von Preussen visits historic Jaśkowo Palace in Poland

Franz Friedrich Prinz von Preussen, the great-grandson of the last German Emperor Wilhelm II, recently visited the historic Jaśkowo Palace in the Warmia and Mazury region of Poland.

During the visit, discussions focused on the future of the 1721 Baroque residence, which is currently managed by the Pałac Jaśkowo Foundation. The foundation aims to secure the monument and restore its former glory. Plans include the creation of a museum dedicated to the region's cultural heritage. Maciej Olipra, President of the foundation, noted that collaborating with a descendant of the Hohenzollerns could facilitate access to family archives and documents, which would assist in restoring the palace's historical appearance and developing future museum exhibits.
