Priolo Gargallo hosts “Priolo in Arte, Blu di Prussia” art exhibition

The ninth edition of the “Priolo in Arte, Blu di Prussia” exhibition has opened at the historic Circolo Culturale Tommaso Gargallo in Priolo Gargallo. The event features a sensory artistic journey created by artist Francesco Buggea, centered around the theme of Prussian Blue, the first synthetic pigment in painting history.

The inauguration included various cultural contributions, such as scientific and artistic insights from Professor Erika Agnello Scalia and a historical discussion on Prussian blue uniforms by Captain Domenico Salemi. The event also featured poetry readings and a biographical presentation of Buggea.

In addition to Buggea’s work, the exhibition showcases local artists Cetty Urso, Floriana Materazzo, Elisa Gozzo, and Antonella Gentile. The exhibition will remain open to the public throughout the festivities for the town's Patron Saint.
