Prishtina Cathedral hosts concert for Mother Teresa canonization anniversary

A solemn concert was held at the St. Mother Teresa Cathedral in Prishtina to mark the 10th anniversary of the canonization of Saint Mother Teresa. The event featured the Prishtina Cathedral Choir, conducted by Lidvina Marku, alongside guest performer Josep Solé Coll, the titular organist of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.

The musical program included works by Bach, Perosi, Bartolucci, and Miserach, with performances by soprano Arta Jashari and tenor Jon Haliti. The evening also included a documentary film dedicated to the life of Mother Teresa.

Don Agim Qerkini, the cathedral's parish priest, noted that the anniversary serves as an opportunity to reflect on the saint's message and use her example as an inspiration for peace and goodness in society.
