Authorities in Pristina have activated emergency units, including a professional fire‑brigade of roughly 110 firefighters, police support and volunteer rescue teams, to mitigate potential storm damage. The Ministry of Agriculture announced plans to expand hail‑protective netting for crops, but farmers say the measures are difficult to implement.

Residents are advised to stay out of open spaces during severe storms, avoid sheltering under trees or near metal structures, and to take precautions against heat‑related illnesses.
