Prithvi Shaw and Akriti Agarwal reconcile after calling off engagement
Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw and actor Akriti Agarwal have reconciled and decided to give their relationship another chance, just weeks after announcing they had called off their engagement.
In a social media statement titled ‘A Personal Clarification’, Agarwal explained that she had been ‘misguided’ by the opinions of people close to her, which influenced her decision to end the engagement in September. She admitted that she had made the decision without having the honest conversation the couple deserved and took responsibility for the hurt caused.
The couple stated that they have since spoken openly, understood each other better, and chosen to move forward together. Agarwal emphasized that they want their future to be guided by their own ‘understanding, trust, and love’ rather than outside influence, and requested privacy as they begin again.
