Privacy technologies advance in blockchain and data analysis sectors
Developments in data privacy and secure computation are advancing across different sectors. DIFINES has announced the development of ‘Kakuseru’, a privacy transaction service for the DFSChain blockchain. The service aims to address the transparency barriers of Web3 by allowing users and corporations to control which information is publicly visible while maintaining a permanent record of transactions. It is intended to integrate with the MetaFace common wallet, offering a ‘Private TX’ option to protect wallet addresses and asset information.
In the telecommunications sector, KDDI has collaborated with Acompany to implement a data clean room utilizing Confidential Computing (CC) technology. This architecture enables the secure joint analysis of large-scale datasets, such as customer information for 40 million people, without disclosing raw data to partner companies. This approach is designed to navigate strict privacy regulations and mitigate data leak risks during inter-organizational data collaboration.
