Private jet crash in Florida kills nine and Michigan political shift occurs

A private jet crashed into a residential area in Palm Beach County, Florida, resulting in the deaths of all nine people on board. The aircraft, which had departed from Austin, Texas, and was en route to the Bahamas, struck trees before hitting a mobile home park near Crest Haven and sparking a fire. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause.

In Michigan, Democratic Congresswoman Haley Stevens endorsed Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers ahead of the midterm election.
