Private schools in France begin 2026 academic year

Private educational institutions in France have commenced the 2026 academic year. At Lycée Galilee, staff held a preparatory meeting on August 31, featuring plenary sessions, departmental meetings, and training on the PRONOTE pedagogical tracking system. Students are scheduled to begin classes in early September, with integration days for new students.

In Domfront-en-Poiraie, the school complex comprising l’école de l’Ange-Gardien and the Collège du Sacré-Coeur welcomed a total of 338 students. Led by Isabelle Goubin, the collège reported stable enrollment with 164 students from the 6e to 3e levels. The institution's educational project emphasizes respect, trust, and global openness.
