Priyanka Chaturvedi criticizes government accountability in Parliament

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi has criticized the central government regarding the ongoing deadlock in the Parliament's monsoon session. She stated that the impasse is not about specific bills, but rather a lack of accountability, specifically noting that the Home Minister has not been addressing questions in the House regarding issues such as student protests in Delhi.

Chaturvedi also raised concerns about the legislative process, questioning the practice of passing bills through voice votes after very brief discussions.

Regarding regional issues, she commented on the student protests in Jharkhand over JPSC and JSSC examination irregularities, noting that the state government's ongoing dialogue with students is a positive step. Additionally, she addressed the incident involving stones and mud being thrown at West Bengal former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's convoy, alleging the attack was sponsored by the BJP and questioning how such an incident could occur under existing security measures.
