Priyanka Chopra Confirms Collaboration with Angelina Jolie

Priyanka Chopra announced that she will be working with Hollywood star Angelina Jolie on an upcoming project, but did not disclose whether it is a film, commercial campaign or philanthropic effort. In the interview with Fortune India she said, “I find Penelope Cruz, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie inspirational,” and added that the nature of the collaboration will remain under wraps for now.

Chopra also discussed her return to Indian cinema with director S.S. Rajamouli’s pan‑Indian action‑adventure "Varanasi," described as one of the most expensive Indian productions ever made with a budget of roughly ₹1,200‑1,400 crore ($135‑150 million). She said, “What we are trying to do is something so ambitious and on a scale not seen for a very long time,” and expressed excitement that the film will be a “massive global release.” "Varanasi" is scheduled for worldwide release on 7 April 2027.

In addition to "Varanosi," Chopra is attached to several international projects, including a co‑production with Orlando Bloom, Mira Nair’s biographical drama "Amri," and Nicholas Stoller’s ensemble film "Judgment Day."
