Priyanka Chopra discusses marriage and Bollywood reflections

Actress Priyanka Chopra has shared insights regarding her personal life and career. In recent interviews, including an appearance at the New York premiere of ‘The Cycle of Love’, she credited the success of her eight-year marriage to Nick Jonas to his respect for her Indian heritage and traditions. Chopra noted that his willingness to embrace her cultural roots is a vital pillar of their multicultural relationship.

Chopra also reflected on her time in the Bollywood industry, expressing a past dislike for what she described as a culture of pretentiousness and fake behavior. She admitted that she herself struggled with these industry pressures early in her career.

Looking forward, Chopra is set to return to Indian cinema in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming action-adventure film, ‘Varanasi’. She will play the role of Mandakini, a fierce historian, alongside Mahesh Babu.
