Priyanka Chopra reflects on turning 40 and upcoming film Varanasi

Actress Priyanka Chopra recently shared reflections on turning 40 via social media, noting the diverse life stages her peers are experiencing. In an Instagram story, she remarked that there is “no timeline, just vibes,” observing that while some friends are becoming grandmothers or celebrating long marriages, others are having new children or dating younger partners.

Regarding her professional career, Chopra is set to make her Tamil cinema debut in the upcoming pan-India action-adventure film ‘Varanasi,’ directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film, which features a time-travel plot centered around the city of Varanasi, also stars Mahesh Babu as Rudra and Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha. The movie is scheduled for theatrical release on April 7, 2027.
