Prize Fest 2026 begins in Shreveport

Prize Fest 2026 is scheduled to begin this week in Shreveport, featuring a variety of multi-venue events including culinary, comedy, film, and music competitions.

The Food Prize kicks off on Wednesday, October 14, at the Remington Suite Hotel, featuring six local and six national celebrity chefs. On Thursday, October 15, the Comedy Prize will host live stand-up performances at the Remington Garage, with a $2,500 prize for the winner.

Film Prize screenings will run from Thursday through Saturday, October 17, showcasing Louisiana-made short films. Participants will vote for a winner to receive a $50,000 grand prize. The festival continues into Friday and Saturday with the Music Prize, featuring indie music performances at the Remington Garage.
